Our Road Map

The below slideshow is a summary of my relationship with Ye Chow. We first got close when I asked him to come out of his house for a short tete-a-tete with my friends. We didn't really hit if off immediately, but it got better when a cat abandoned her kitten inside one of the rooms in his house. He didn't know what to do, and the kitten was going to die, so I took action. I bought the milk and tiny feeding bottle, and he tried to feed the little kitten.

She wasn't drinking properly. So I started going to his house everyday, sometimes twice a day, to help feed her. We named her Princess (go here for all the stuff I wrote about the kitten). He took the opportunity to hold my hand on pretext of helping me feed her. That was probably the first time we got close.

The kitten disappeared one month later (presumably stolen). I haven't seen her since. But we continued our friendship as just normal colleagues and friends. One of our first few friendship dates was a trip to Batu Caves. We argued that day (i can't remember over what).
A month later, we became a couple. Our first photo together is actually a potrait drawn by some guy in a fun fair. We used the same potrait on our wedding cards! Our first real photo was taken during my Masters graduation ceremony. He proposed shortly after that, on my birthday.

We had our professional photos taken, which was a 12 hour nightmare during which I had my "time-of-the-month". Incidently, I also had it during my wedding day...but that's a different story. OUr first day as LEGAL husband and wife was in St. Francis Xavier church, where we signed the registration of marriage. Marilyn, Guoy, Shirley, my Kai Ma, my family and his family all gathered as our witnesses (actually Marilyn was there to make sure I didn't become the Chinese runaway bride). We got married in church 2 weeks later.

The first trip we had together was our honeymoon. Our first overseas trip together was for work (and play afterwards). There, we had many "firsts" as well. I guess we will have many more in the years to come :D

Counting the days I spend with my Turtle

We gathered to sign our wedding vows. Friends and family assembled to witness the joining of our lives.
